PUBG Mobile CEGC & PMGC 2026 Date Clash: [Confirmed]

According to verified reports from TalkEsport, Skyesports founder Shiva Nandy confirmed that the CEGC 2026 Grand Finals in Chennai and the PMGC 2026 Grand Finals in Istanbul will directly clash on December 11, 12, and 13, 2026. The scheduling crisis erupted on October 24, 2026, when Nandy published side-by-side calendar schedules on X highlighting the impossible overlap. Two days later, Nandy issued a definitive update stating that the Skyesports Chennai Esports Global Championship dates cannot and will not be moved. This scheduling stalemate places top-tier Indian esports organizations in an unprecedented competitive bind. Most notably, defending CEGC champions Team SouL have already secured a coveted slot in the PUBG Mobile Global Championship, putting them directly in the crosshairs of this calendar conflict. Regional fans and analysts are left questioning how tournament organizers will resolve player availability, as competing in both Tier-1 international and premier domestic LAN events simultaneously remains physically impossible. The deadlock underscores broader scheduling fragmentation across the global mobile esports ecosystem, leaving players and franchise owners demanding better inter-organizational calendar synchronization to protect competitive integrity and fan engagement worldwide.
