Bungie's Marathon Launch Draws Half Server Slam's PC Player Base [2026 Update]

From a business perspective, Marathon's half‑size launch tempers expectations for broadcast viewership, likely delivering 0.6‑0.8 million concurrent streams compared to Server Slam's 1.5 million peak. Sponsorship exposure for partners such as HyperX and Razer may therefore be modest in the first quarter, influencing franchise valuations for early‑adopter teams. On the 217G marketplace, high‑rank competitive IDs and rare cosmetics for Marathon are currently trading between PKR 20,000 and 100,000 (AED 300‑1,500), reflecting cautious demand. Should player numbers climb, we anticipate a 15‑20% price uplift, aligning with trends observed after successful launch phases of comparable shooters.
