Big Walk Xbox Boycott: House House Decision [Confirmed]

According to verified reports from Insider Gaming published in early 2026, acclaimed indie developer House House has officially confirmed that their highly anticipated cooperative adventure title Big Walk will completely bypass Xbox consoles due to political protests. The decision stems directly from the studio's public solidarity with the ongoing Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement targeting Microsoft over corporate policies and international ties. While the title was initially projected for a comprehensive multi-platform rollout across console and PC ecosystems, this sudden publishing policy shift highlights how grassroots political activism increasingly influences commercial business agreements within the modern gaming landscape. Industry analysts note that House House's definitive stance establishes a powerful precedent for independent development studios navigating ethical dilemmas regarding major technology conglomerate partnerships. Furthermore, community response has been deeply polarized across social media networks, sparking intense global debates regarding platform availability, creative freedom, and corporate accountability. Fans eagerly awaiting the unique multiplayer communication and cooperative exploration mechanics must now migrate exclusively to alternative supported platforms like personal computers to experience the official launch window scheduled for later this year.
