Battlefield 6 Mass Effect N7 Cosmetics Scrapped [Confirmed]

Electronic Arts and developer DICE have officially pulled upcoming Mass Effect crossover cosmetics from Battlefield 6 game files following the sudden closure of BioWare and the cancellation of the next mainline sci-fi title this week, according to verified reporting from MP1st. Following the recent Dead Space limited-time crossover event in Battlefield 6, community dataminers identified dedicated Mass Effect N7 soldier skins, weapon charms, and universal vehicle decals staged for deployment ahead of November's traditional N7 Day festivities. However, internal restructuring across EA led to the immediate decommissioning of BioWare Edmonton and the termination of the untitled Mass Effect project, making promotional brand synergy obsolete. The community backlash over the studio shutdown escalated rapidly, highlighted by how the [Mass Effect Petition Passes 120K After BioWare Cut [Confirmed]](/news/mass-effect-petition-bioware-ea) across gaming circles. Battlefield 6 live-ops producers will instead prioritize standard tactical military bundles and seasonal multiplayer balance passes throughout the upcoming cycle.
