The Batman Part 2 Filming Resumes Under Soderbergh [Confirmed]

The Batman Part 2 has officially resumed production after director Steven Soderbergh stepped in to help guide the DC Studios sequel while Matt Reeves attends to a family matter, drawing high praise from star Robert Pattinson. According to verified reports from Polygon, production halted briefly in early October before Warner Bros. Pictures recruited Soderbergh to ensure seamless continuity. Pattinson lauded Soderbergh's collaborative entry into the Gotham universe as completely selfless, stating the Oscar-winning filmmaker prioritized Reeves' established aesthetic and world-building over personal artistic imprints. The transition marks a rare, high-profile co-piloting of an A-list comic property, preventing costly theatrical delays that threatened secondary licensing schedules and upcoming superhero gaming releases. Industry insiders monitoring the shoot confirm principal photography in London is maintaining its updated timeline without structural rewrites.
