Arshdeep Singh T20I Wicket Record: IND vs NZ Spell [Confirmed]

India left-arm seamer Arshdeep Singh climbed into the elite top five Indian bowlers with the most T20I wickets in a calendar year on October 24, 2026, after delivering a match-defining bowling spell against New Zealand at Hagley Oval in Christchurch. According to verified reports from Sportskeeda Esports & BGMI, India captain opted to bowl first in the second match of the bilateral series, unlocking immediate seam movement in cool overcast conditions. Arshdeep dismantled the top order in his opening burst, removing dangerous opener Tim Seifert for seven runs off six deliveries in the second over. He later returned to dismiss Glenn Phillips, who fought to top-score for the Black Caps, thereby cementing his historic wicket haul in calendar year records.
