Valorant VCT: 100 Thieves Knock Out G2 Esports [Confirmed]

North America's top-seeded 100 Thieves eliminated fierce rivals G2 Esports from VCT playoff contention during an intense lower bracket elimination match today, securing a coveted spot in the lower finals against Team Vitality while abruptly ending G2's international championship run. According to verified reports from VLR.gg, 100 Thieves displayed flawless team coordination across the series to overcome G2's defensive setups. The high-stakes showdown opened on Lotus, G2's signature map pick, where both squads fielded core controller frameworks featuring Omen, Skye, and Viper. The tactical difference came down to utility pacing: Matthew 'Cryocells' Panganiban dominated early engagements on Chamber, pairing lethal Operator holds with aggressive entry paths from Timothée 'Timotino' Dupont on Neon. Despite G2's defensive traps led by Andrej 'BABYBAY' Francisty on Vyse and Alexander 'jawgemo' Mor on Raze, 100 Thieves seized control of attack-side rotations through Jordan 'vora' Pulwer's default splits. The loss marks a painful exit for G2, whose decorated core has once again fallen short of capturing an international trophy amid lingering post-season transfer rumors. 100 Thieves now advance to face EMEA powerhouse Team Vitality in what promises to be a legendary battle for grand final qualification.
