What Is a Cyberpunk Glamdoc?

A Cyberpunk Glamdoc is a vendor who sells cosmetic styles for your arms cyberware — your Mantis Blades, Gorilla Arms, Monowire, and Projectile Launch System. Glamdocs arrived with the game's Update 2.5, and their whole purpose is fashion for your chrome: they change how your implanted arms cyberware looks, including its style and colours, without changing how it performs. If you want your Mantis Blades to look like they belong to a particular Night City faction or brand, a Glamdoc is where you go.

Glamdocs are easy to find once you know what to look for. They appear on the map with a spray-paint icon, and each one sits right next to a Ripperdoc — which is convenient, because the Ripperdoc connection matters. You can only buy styles for the type of arms cyberware you currently have implanted. If you have Gorilla Arms installed and you want a Mantis Blades style, visit the Ripperdoc next door and switch your implant first, then browse the Glamdoc's catalogue.

Each Glamdoc sells styles tied to particular Night City brands — corporations, gangs, and other factions — and each shop's catalogue is its own. That means no single Glamdoc sells everything: collecting styles means visiting several shops across the city and seeing what each one carries. Styles are also colour-customizable at the Glamdoc, so you can adjust the look of a style you own. Once you own a style, it stays unlocked even if you later change your arms cyberware, so a collection you build is yours to keep.

The key thing to understand is that Glamdoc styles are purely cosmetic. They do not raise damage, speed, or any combat value, and they do not unlock new abilities. That is a feature, not a catch: it means you can dress your chrome exactly how you like without worrying that a style choice weakens your build. If a seller or site promises a Glamdoc style with boosted combat stats, it is not describing the real game — and if it asks for your account details to deliver it, it is a scam.
