Valorant Pro Settings: Learn the Method, Not Just the Numbers

Most professional players use a low sensitivity, because it makes small aim corrections easier and steadier. Low does not mean the same number for everyone, so find yours by testing: in the practice range, try to flick between two targets without overshooting, and lower the sensitivity until the flicks land cleanly. Your mouse matters too, so keep the same mouse and the same mousepad while you test. Once you find a value that feels controlled, keep it for at least a week before judging it.

Pro crosshairs are almost always simple: small, with a clear colour that stands out against every map. A crosshair that is too large or too fancy hides the target, and one that blends into the background disappears when you need it most. Pick a colour that contrasts with the maps you play, test it in the range and in a real match, and keep it simple. The best crosshair is the one you stop noticing, because it is always exactly where you expect it.

Keybinds should put everything within easy reach without moving your hand off the movement keys. Abilities, walking, jumping, and reloading all need keys you can hit without thinking, so set them up for comfort and then practise until they are automatic. Do not copy a pro's keybinds blindly, because their hand size and habits are different. If a key feels awkward after a week of use, move it and give the new binding the same week to settle.

Pros turn graphics down, not up, because clarity beats beauty in a competitive match. Lower effects, shadows, and distractions make enemies easier to spot and keep the frame rate steady, which matters more than pretty lighting. Turn settings down one at a time and play a few matches before judging the change. If your frames are already steady and enemies are easy to see, there is no need to change anything.
