Riot Account Management Guide

If you lose access, use the official Riot account recovery page and follow the steps with the email tied to the account. You will usually need to confirm your identity through that email. Keep your recovery email active and reachable, because a dead inbox turns a simple recovery into a long support case.

Linking connects your Riot account to platforms and games you play, so progress and purchases stay in one place. Do it from the official Riot account settings, and check each link after you add it. Unlinking is also done there, so you can clean up old connections you no longer use.

Change your email, password, and username only from the official Riot account page, and do it while signed in on a device you trust. Update one detail at a time and confirm each change by email. If a change request arrives that you did not make, change your password at once and check your linked accounts.

Turn on two-factor authentication, use a unique password, and review your sign-in history and linked accounts regularly. Never share your login with anyone, including someone offering boosts or skins. If your account is ever shared or stolen, our safe Valorant account guide explains the checks that protect account deals.
