PUBG Mobile Flash XAPK: Do Not Install Files From Unknown Sites

An XAPK is a package format that bundles an app with its extra data files, and it is sometimes used to install apps outside an official store. Some players look for one when the game is not available in their region or when their store download fails. The format itself is not the problem, the source is, because a file from an unknown site can be changed before you ever open it. Once installed, a modified game file has the same access to your device as the real game.

A repackaged game file can hide malware that steals logins, reads messages, or locks your device until you pay. It can also include modified game code that the developers detect, which can lead to your account being banned. There is no way to check a random download by looking at it, and a site that promises a working file has no reason to be honest with you. If the file harms your account or device, there is nobody to complain to and no refund to claim.

Download the game from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store, or from the official channels the developers publish for your region. These stores check apps before listing them, and the game updates through them automatically and safely. If the game is not listed in your region, that is a signal to wait for an official release rather than hunting for a file elsewhere. For general download safety, see our 8 Ball Pool download safety guide, which covers the same rules for any game file.

Uninstall the file immediately and do not log in to any account through it again. Change your game account password and the password of any linked email or social account from a clean device. Run a scan with a trusted security app and watch your accounts for logins you do not recognise. If anything looks wrong, contact official game support from the official site and explain exactly what you installed.
