PUBG Mobile 4.4 Update Guide

Version 4.4 is built around Hero's Crown, a Greek mythology themed mode that turns familiar Erangel locations into mythical ruins. The mode adds a floating island called the Crown's Abode, where squads face a centaur boss after proving themselves in trials below. It is a seasonal themed mode, so it sits alongside classic play rather than replacing it.

Across the hot drops, squads can take on mythical trials such as lighting and defending a sacred flame or planting and holding a battle flag against waves of guards. Completing trials earns shared Glory Points for the squad, and a strong enough total opens a portal to the Crown's Abode for the boss fight. Squads that split roles, with some players holding the trial point while others watch the flanks, tend to survive these fights longer.

Dinoground comes back in the 4.4 cycle, with Dino Settlements scattered across the map and a rideable T-Rex that a whole squad can climb onto. The T-Rex can crush enemy vehicles and shake up fights with its roar, which makes it a strong rotation tool when your squad controls it. Expect heavy contest around Dino Settlements early in the match, so only go there when your squad is ready to fight for it.

The 4.4 cycle also brings a Ford collaboration event with supercars on the map, plus anime and music collaborations that add cosmetics, lucky draws and themed events. Check the events tab inside the game for what is live in your region, since collaboration content rolls out in waves. Try the new mode in unranked matches first, and practise squad coordination in the daily PUBG Mobile custom room.
