How to Protect Your PUBG Account from SIM-Swap Theft

Instruct your telecom provider to require a secret in-person biometric verification or 6-digit verbal PIN before any SIM replacement or number porting can be executed.

SMS codes travel over unencrypted SS7 cellular networks. Switch to Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, or FIDO2 YubiKey security keys.

Never link a public email that appears on social media, resumes, or gaming forums. Use a private alias with 2-step verification and backup codes stored offline.

Enable PUBG Secondary Password under Settings > Privacy. This prevents an intruder from dismantling mythics, spending UC, or transferring clan leadership even if they gain temporary access.

Regularly review active connected devices across your linked accounts and immediately terminate unknown Android emulator sessions or previous phone models.
